Consultation Office
To schedule an appointment for a free, private consultation call 1-800-985-6405 or fill out this short form. Your appointment will be with a Bosley Senior Counselor who is thoroughly trained to answer your general questions on the causes of hair loss, available treatment options and a typical range of cost. Your Bosley physician will provide you with a definitive answer on cost but first must determine that you are a candidate for permanent hair restoration.
Though Bosley hair transplant surgery is the only permanent solution to hair loss there are other solutions that could be part of your complete treatment plan, which is decided by you and your Bosley physician. Available solutions include Propecia®, Minoxidil and the new Bosley LaserComb.
In 1997 the FDA approved a prescription drug for men only, for the treatment of male pattern hair loss. Propecia® effectively helps stop hair loss by reducing the formation of dihydrotestosterone (DHT).
The most common treatment for hair loss is Minoxidil, which is a topical solution approved in 1988 by the FDA. Minoxidil has been proven in some cases to help stop or slow down hair loss on the vertex (crown) of the head. However, this solution has shown little effect on frontal hair loss, meaning the temples or hair line. The temples and hair line are where many men begin to recede and have great concern.

Bosley LaserComb
The Bosley LaserComb is the most recent addition to FDA approved or accepted treatments for hair loss. The Bosley LaserComb is also the only medical device and drug-free option available.
This latest innovation uses 9 individual laser beams with just the right amount of energy to help promote hair growth and stimulate the follicles. The device has been clinically proven to make hair appear fuller, thicker and healthier in men with male pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia).
