Bosley Consultation Series > Part 9 > Day of Procedure Explanation

In part 9 of this Bosley consultation series, Seth Garon’s Senior Advisor discusses in general terms the day of the procedure as well as the artistry involved in Bosley’s permanent hair restoration.

In an earlier article we discussed this artistry and how important it is in creating a natural looking hairline.

The Bosley Senior Counselor also discusses the donor area, which is comprised of DHT resistant hair on the sides and back of the head.  These groupings of hairs (follicular units) can range from 1-4 hairs, are random and grow in multiple directions.  Bosley physicians recreate this naturalness by carefully placing these follicular units with finer hairs toward the front and thicker hairs and groupings toward the back.

More information is available in Bosley’s multi-part series on hair loss parts 1,  2,  3,  4
