Bosley Consultation Series > Part 11 > 3 Months Following the Procedure

In our most recent segment in this series the Bosley Senior Counselor discussed with Seth Garon what to expect in the first 2 weeks after the permanent hair restoration procedure.  All segments in the series can be viewed here

In this segment Seth discusses with the counselor what to expect in the first 3 months but they also touch on what to expect up to 9 months after the procedure.  The dormant stage, which occurs during the first 3 months, is characterized as an “anxious” period while waiting for the transplants to grow.  After the dormant stage the transplanted hair will start growth that is finer then will begin to thicken.  Hair grows at an average rate of 1/2 inch per month so within 9 months of the procedure Seth should have a good idea of his progress.  His hair should be approximately 3 inches at that time.

The counselor discusses that at that time Seth can decide if he wants additional density through a second procedure.

More detailed information on the permanent hair restoration procedure is available here.
